The Pre-K – School Connection

In my presentations, I always encourage teachers to connect with their pre-K and daycare feeders to develop continuity from one environment to the next.   This is a great article outlining the importance of communication in ensuring smooth transitions for children, parents and teachers.   Although specific to certain US states, the concept is applicable wherever children are coming from an early child-care learning environment to a school.
