c-v-c Blending

Once children are automatic with their consonant and short vowel sounds, they need practice with c-v-c blending.  Our new Blending Cards Set makes this activity hands-on and fun!   Children take initial consonant sounds, slide them into the short vowel card and add a final sound on the end.   They can make many patterned words by changing just the initial sound, just the final sound or just the vowels.   They enjoy identifying whether they have made a real or a nonsense word.  Make drill and practice fun with these cards!
